Lately this app has been messing up. I could be in the middle of sending a video and the screen goes black. I just got a brand new phone and all the apps are up to date. Not sure what the problem is, as well for freezing. Mid video calls and it freezes and sounds choppy, doesn't matter if I'm connected to WiFi or not. FYI the troubleshooting recommended never fixes the problem."

UPDATE: 10/20/23 Everything has improved! Less battery drainage, less freezing, and the sound quality was good. I'll definitely use this feature. For a free video call, it's ok. It gets pixel-y at times, and freezes up now and then. It does drain the battery, just so you know. If one person is talking, don't interrupt or else the sound goes mute. Don't go near electronics, seems to interfere. Like I said, for free, it's good enough for me."

The app can't make up it's mind if it wants to use mobile data or Wi-Fi despite both options being a strong connection. It also has terrible latency. It's really a shame because this used to be a good app, but after some updates it's become awful. I've noticed this usually happens when Google plans on rebranding the app, with it coming the fixes, but this is an endless cycle. This isn't an issue with my phone or my connection, it's the app that's the problem."
